I run a solo practioner law office in Fairbanks, Alaska.  The practice focuses on a wide range of individual legal concerns.  The typical client is a person from the community who is confronted with a dispute or life event that requires the assistance of legal counsel.  Sometimes a one-on-one consultation with the lawyer is enough to satisfy the client's needs.  If not, drafting, litigation, negotiation services and more are available.

 

The most frequent callers to my office are for family law matters, such as divorce and child custody.  Other regular calls are from those who have decided it's time for a simple will, power of attorney, and health care directive.  Consumer issues ranging from a retail purchase complaint to residential contractor malpractice come to my office.  Sometimes the call comes in from a client who has been served with a lawsuit and needs a defense attorney.  I offer legal service over a wide range of areas, inlcuding business and employment disputes.  I do not handle criminal law cases.

 

One popular service I provide is unbundled legal services for the individual who wants to handle her or his legal problem, but needs the expertise and guidance of an attorney for court procedures, rules of law, analysis, or document preparation.
